Okay I would realllllllly love you to go back in your brain to when you were mothering young children and like, what worked for you? Think 2+4. Did you wake up before your kids, what did you do to survive? What would you do differently? What would you do the same? Does it ever end? Lol I know once you’re past that phase you’re past it but I AM STILL IN IT LOL. Help, please. 🤎

Ok I’m not done yet hahaha. Did you experience Mom guilt, what was your favorite part, the hardest part, any life changing hacks, what did you do to honor yourself but also honor your finances.

I’d like to know more about how you deal with your maturing boys! I have a 10yr old grandson, and the world has changed so dramatically since my 36yr old son was their age!

And aging, decorating, lipstick, everything! I juts love you, Jo!

I would like to know, as specifically as you can, what went wrong in your marriage and how/why did things change?

If you have entered the perimenopause stage of life, I'd be curious to hear how you're navigating that. I am in that stage currently and it has been hard to navigate a changing body. One of my first symptoms was gaining 20-25 lbs inexplicably. I have had to donate all of my clothes and start over from scratch. Now I am experiencing hot flashes and irregular periods. Every month is a new adventure! And I'm only 40! So for any fellow readers, if you're also "young" and experiencing symptoms you're not alone and you're not crazy.

What advice would you give your 30 year old self? Do you have an item you can’t travel without? Is there something you wish you were better at? Is there something you’re looking forward to trying? Will you ever get a dog? ;)

I curious, does your mom read Big Salad? Do you bring up topics like sex and relationships with her when you’re together? As someone who is such an open book with us (thank you!) are you the same with your mom?

How to pack for a honeymoon! I know each trip is different but do you (or anyone!) have ideas to help make it feel special? We are going to Paris right after our wedding and I have put packing to the furthest back burner!

Tangentially related - I lived in Paris and have a spreadsheet of recommendations, if it would be helpful! Feel free to DM me and I can share it :) (and for honeymoon packing! I bought a couple new things for my honeymoon, and it’s fun to wear them now and be reminded of that time ❤️)

I think a honeymoon is a great occasion to buy a splurgy dress (or whatever clothing you like) right when you arrive at the beginning of the trip and wear it for loads of pictures. Then you can always wear it at home and remember the trip.

Also, I highly recommend Green River Cruises — we did this on our honeymoon in Paris and it was one of our fave evenings of the trip. Congratulations and enjoy!!!

Thank you so much, Katie! I appreciate the tips and think we'll book a Green River Cruise! :)

How do you stay inspired with Cup Of Jo & Big Salad? Or what do you do to find/create inspiration when you’re feeling meh with what to post etc.? Do you think you will keep doing what you do or do you want to try different/new things?

You're an inspiration to everyone navigating online dating. I'd love to see a profile of older women who have found their needle in a haystack (I can't be the only Burned Haystack Dating Method fan on here).

Thank you for these! I am curious if you ever had to overcome anxiety about a sticky situation in motherhood. I just learned that my 8 month old has many food allergies (and I've already had to use the epi pen!) and now I see the world at large as potentially dangerous. Have you ever had to get over something that seemed insurmountable? If so, how did you get through?!
